I’M CHANGING WHAT’S POSSIBLE BY…
Progressing and challenging myself.

“My ambition is to keep growing, progressing and having an open mind to what the future holds within Synchrony.”
I am a success story and am excited about my future at Synchrony. My goals are evolving, and I am gaining strong, diverse experiences, furthering my education and working closely with senior leadership. With the support of the Synchrony team, I keep learning, growing and challenging myself.
I started my career as a Universal Fraud Agent at Synchrony two months after graduating with my Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University. Since then, I have had a well-rounded experience in Fraud including positions as Fraud Communication & Letters Senior Specialist, Fraud Genius Publisher, Client Review and my latest position as a Senior Specialist for the Business Control Unit. In my roles, I have not only gained customer and merchant experience, but I have worked directly with Fraud Senior Leadership and have been instrumental in the implementation of fraud processes.
“Since I have been with Synchrony, I have realized the importance of constantly learning and understanding how environmental influences can build a new perspective.”
Within the last four years, I completed two Master’s degrees focusing in Government Management, Business Intelligence and Analytic Management. I was a 2018 STEP (Skills Training for Evolving Professionals) Level 4 graduate, where I gained new skills and built important relationships with leadership.
Currently, I hold multiple leadership positions within AAN+, with most recently being a co-leader of our Grow and Promote Pillar and additionally co-leader of our Growth, Education, and Readiness (GEAR) program. GEAR is a developmental program that aids in the advancement of professional branding, resume building, and interview skills for Associates. Through my collective leadership, GEAR had record breaking attendance and was able to launch the first GEAR Work at Home pilot at the Kettering location.
I was also a part of the Kettering XLR8 program. XLR8 is a unique 12-month development program that provides the opportunity to strengthen professional skills and acquire fundamental experiences through challenging cross-functional project work. XLR8 allowed me the opportunity to rotate through three functions and gain critical experiences that I would not have had the ability to gain otherwise. I completed my rotations in IT with the Robotics Process Automation team working on credential management and consolidation, in Sales supporting the Retail Home Brands team training store managers and associates on overcoming hesitations and reviewing new application opportunities, and in ECE, I was awarded the opportunity to learn a fantastic data analytic tool, ClickFox, that allows the users a more efficient way to gather and display data to arm cross-functional leaders with information to help them make informed decisions for the business.
After completing the program, I am proud to say I accepted the role of Robotics Process Automation CoE Operations Engineer. In this role, I am working with multiple automation teams to ensure successful execution and operational excellence.
The best advice that I can offer is to become comfortable with being uncomfortable, create actionable goals, and continue to push your limits.
