I’M CHANGING WHAT’S POSSIBLE BY…

Being a better leader and mom.

ELAINE THOMLEY

VP, Financial Planning & Analysis

For more than a year, the ability to work flexibly has been a focal point in the lives of all of us here at Synchrony. For me personally, Synchrony has showed that their employees are their #1 priority by providing us the opportunity to work from home and we have proven that we can successfully do our jobs and contribute from our own homes.

Being a working mom during the pandemic was certainly challenging! But Synchrony gave me the support I needed to transition from the office to home, help reduce stress of being a working mom, and spend more time with my kids.

Once I decided to work from home permanently, I felt 100% supported in my decision. I’m more connected to my team and I get data faster working remotely using the technology Synchrony has.

It’s the best of both worlds to have a career and be a working mom. I’m grateful for the opportunity and I’m happy. The level of support and trust from Synchrony allowed me to become a better leader and a better mom.
